Property snagging is a professional inspection carried out before or shortly after handover to identify construction, finishing and MEP defects that the developer is still responsible for fixing.

Once you sign the handover certificate, it becomes harder to hold the developer accountable for pre-existing defects. A snagging report gives you documented evidence to require free repairs during your Defect Liability Period.
